Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival and 10th anniversary of 9/11

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival and tour headliners Avenged Sevenfold are working with The Rock 106.9 WCCC in Hartford, CT to raise funds in remembrance of the tenth anniversary of 9/11. To respectfully remember this day and help financially support some great foundations that have assisted firefighters, police officers and their families, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival with Avenged Sevenfold will make a dollar for dollar match of all donations up to $10,000 made through The Rock 106.9 WCCC from now through September 11, 2011. Donations can be made online at http://www.wccc.com/uproar.
At the September 11 Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival at Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT, before Avenged Sevenfold stage the stage there will be a color guard presentation by the National Guard, checks will be presented to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (http://www.firehero.org) and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (http://www.nleomf.com), followed by a moment of silence.
