ok guys, we promised you would see it here first. This is the advert that will be distributed with the debut of the new $YN guitars at the Musik Messe' Trade SHow in Germany. There are TWO versions of this new Synyster Gates Signature Model. The $PECIAL and the DELUXE. $YN has used thie Special in the studio this week on a new A7X track ... and it will make its stage debut on the 'Welcome to the Family' dates. We will have more specs, etc of BOTH variants later today... but as promised; here it is the first look!
the guitar is ARCHED w/ white binding, Seymour Duncan Invaders, and an Original Floyd Rose Tremolo... it will be available in Nightmare Black Gloss only, and a L/H will also be available . Should be in stores late June 2011 ... and will retail at $1199 in the USA

Guys … the IDEA behind the new $YN model was to build a guitar that was not TOO branded… when we set out to do this, Brian said ‘as much as I love Dime, I would never play that guitar on stage’ … so the new SPECIAL delivers $YN’s look, playability and SOUND without the overly recognizable ‘pimp-stripes’ .
Rest assured, he will still be rocking his striped Customs AND there will be a Special Edition Custom available before the Holidays with a new color scheme.
the new 'DELUXE' version is to the Special, as the 'Standard' is to the Custom. It is more affordable... bolt-on, FR Special trem, Seymour Duncan Designed Detonators, rosewood fingerboard, etc .... $869 MSRP
