Avenged Sevenfold heads up "Welcome to the Family" spring tour

On the heels of the group's recently concluded "Nightmare After Christmas" winter tour, rockers Avenged Sevenfold have announced plans for some springtime roadwork with Three Days Grace.
The "Welcome to the Family" tour, named for Avenged Sevenfold's latest single, opens April 22 in Bossier City, LA. The bill will also feature special guests Sevendust from the launch through May 1, and Bullet for My Valentine from May 3 through May 20.
In the midst of the tour, Avenged Sevenfold will headline four festivals: Little Rock, AR's Edgefest, Charlotte, NC's inaugural Carolina Rebellion, Des Moines, IA's Lazerfest and Columbus, OH's Rock on the Range.

Avenged Sevenfold unveiled "Nightmare," the group's fifth studio effort, in July. The Warner Bros. release, produced by Mike Elizondo (Maroon 5, Pink), debuted atop The Billboard 200, as well as No. 1 on charts in Finland and Brazil.
